Holiday Cottages in Wales
Spectacular scenery, stunning beaches, rich heritage and vibrant cities makes Wales a must-visit country.
How best to describe Wales? Do we focus on the spectacular countryside that is found in every corner of the country? The five AONBs and three National Parks that contain grandiose mountain ranges, deep forests, cascading waterfalls and crystal lakes? Where you can see hundreds of species of wildlife including deer, ospreys and dolphins?
Or what about the beaches? Wales has some amazing beaches for surfers, sand lovers, walkers, and nature watchers, one of which, Rhossili Beach, has been voted one of the top ten beaches in the world two years running.
But that would ignore the rich heritage that Wales has. The country has three UNESCO World Heritage Sites and hundreds of ancient monuments, as well as its vast industrial heritage and over six hundred castles.
And we haven’t even mentioned the towns and cities. The Welsh valleys are full of picturesque villages and Cardiff and Swansea are vibrant cities, full of culture and fun.
So, how best to describe Wales? It’s a difficult one, isn’t it?
