Things to do in Seaton  

Seaton’s pebble beach is over a mile long and ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking and fishing. The South West Coastal Path runs along the seafront and walkers can follow it westwards to Beer or eastwards towards Lyme Regis. At the eastern end of the beach is Seaton harbour where the River Axe flows into the sea. 

The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside, including the Seaton Wetlands Nature Reserve. Take a scenic trip on the Seaton Tramway, which uses part of the old railway line that brought Victorian holidaymakers to the town. Or head to Exmouth for a Jurassic Coast Cruise with Stuart Line Cruises. 

There’s plenty to keep the kids busy too. Within easy reach is Crealy Adventure Park as well as the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary. There’s Jurassic-themed adventure golf at Seafield Gardens and a great play park at the Underfleet. The Seaton Jurassic Experience is also a ‘must see’ where you can experience the exciting discoveries of local fossil hunters and learn more about the ancient history of the area.
