Cottages in Piltdown
Piltdown is a small village on the Southern edge of Ashdown Forest offering wonderful countryside views perfect for a relaxing cottage holiday in Sussex. The village has a local pub which recalls the villages most famous resident 'Piltdown Man' after the hoax in 1912, golf course and vineyard. Just five miles away is the neighbouring village of Uckfield where you can find an array of shops and even hop on a train to London.
