New Properties in Suffolk
With fifty miles of glorious coastline topped with huge expanses of sky, these are the hallmarks of this easternmost county, Suffolk.
Suffolk has much to tempt you, whether it's tranquil villages set in beautiful countryside - not to mention the excellent pubs - the atmospheric and beautiful coastline, or the maritime county town of Ipswich.
Artists amongst you may be inspired by the home of John Constable with the opportunity to visit the legendary Constable country; it was Constable himself who famously said “my limited and abstracted art is to be found under every hedge and in every lane” and the essence of Suffolk in his paintings is still redolent throughout this part of the county. Constable was heavily influenced by the landscape artist Thomas Gainsborough, also a son of Suffolk and there is a museum dedicated to him in Sudbury, his town of birth.
Equine enthusiasts may want to visit Newmarket, the home of horse racing and Thoroughbred breeding in the United Kingdom. Keen visitors, who are prepared to get up early, can see the strings of racehorses heading out to the Gallops, and there is a fascinating museum and art gallery in the centre of Newmarket dedicated to this sport of kings. Some of the racing yards have open days and the National Stud is well worth a visit, or you could combine your holiday with one of the many race meetings held in the town.
We have a selection of fabulous new properties to entice you with, ranging from stunning barn conversions to cosy boltholes; choose your location from coastal to countryside but whichever cottage you pick, you will not be disappointed. Call our friendly team now on 0333 2020899 for help and advice.
