Guests’ expectations increase every year additional facilities are particularly attractive to guests. WiFi is a perfect example, with guests wishing to keep in touch with their friends and family. That first impression on arrival is so important, spend time on the final presentation of your property.
Focus your budget on the most important areas
- High quality beds and mattresses
- Bedding to match the season, quality linen and towels
- High quality showers
- Well equipped kitchens with modern appliances
Think about personal touches
- A welcome tray of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits or cake
- A personalised welcome card
- A selection of books and games for guests’ use
- Local magazine or paper
- Flowers
Consider the space you have on offer
- Is there enough room to allow free movement around the rooms or would it be beneficial to reduce occupancy and offer an enhanced experience?
- Is there sufficient space for all guests to sit comfortably at the dining table?
- Is there sufficient sufficient comfortable seating?
- Is there a good guest/bathroom ratio?
- Do you have room for a dishwasher or washing machine?
Consider the size of the TV you are installing
- Is your TV located in best place for viewing?
- Have you considered if the sun will hit the screen in the morning, afternoon, and evening?
- Have you checked the sound quality?
- Does it need a sound bar?
