Dog Friendly Cottages in Cumbria

Cumbria is a destination that is not just suitable for a dog friendly holiday, but made for it. With the Lake District at its heart and the many walks, hills, fells and lakes to explore, there is no better place to invite your four-legged friend. With this in mind, a great many of our holiday cottages are dog-friendly, allowing anywhere between one and five pets. Located right across the Lake District and Cumbria, our dog-friendly cottages are in some of the most sought-after destinations in the region, boasting magnificent Lakeland views and the very best facilities. 

Keswick is an ever popular destination with dog owners, and many of our cottages in and near Keswick are pet-friendly. Some of the best dog walks in the Lake District are in the Keswick area, including Whinlatter Top, which has a fantastic visitor centre, and Walla Crag, which boasts stunning panoramic views. Most of the shops and pubs in Keswick are also dog-friendly, and even the unique local attraction The Pencil Museum allows dogs on leads!  

We also have a number of dog-friendly cottages along the West Cumbrian coast. Although outside the bounds of the Lake District National Park, the Cumbrian coast provides beautiful surroundings of its own to explore with your four-legged friend. Located in destinations such as Broughton-in-Furness, and Ulverston, Arnside and Morecambe around Morecambe Bay, a dog-friendly stay in one of our cabins and lodges around the Cumbrian coast is sure to delight.
