Coastal Cottages in Cornwall

The Cornish coast is revered across the globe as one of the most beautiful coastlines in England. With two sides, a stunning coastal path running through it and unrivalled surf, this county is synonymous with the sea that surrounds it. Our coastal cottages in Cornwall come with some of the best, unobstructed views of the sea you can imagine and are dotted across this 300-mile long coastline.

Like all our locations, we’ve made sure that a substantial amount of our dog-friendly and luxury cottages in Cornwall are located on the coast, as we always strive to offer variety in our holiday lets. This means that whether you’re looking for a luxury pad in Padstow, or a new build in Newquay, a sea view in St Ives or a four-bed in Fowey, we’ve got you covered.

If you’re new to Cornwall and not sure where’s best for you, then have a little read of our favourite destinations and see if any whet your appetite. We'll leave you to decide which club you are in… Are you a Gnarly Northerner or Sublime Southerner?

Sublime South Coast:

Now if you’re in this club, you’ll be a fan of tranquil scenery, river estuaries and plenty of contrasts. From the windswept Coastwatch station at Rame Head to the peace and genteel calm of the Helford River, the South offers carpets of green lands which roll down sheep strewn hills, to a sandy shoreline of inlets nestling whitewashed fishing villages, harbour towns and sandy coves.

Its spectacular coastline, speckled with hidden bays and beaches, wooded valleys and estuaries, make the south Cornish coast perfect for sailing, cliff top walks and taking in sub-tropical gardens that thrive in the mild climate. Places to explore and visit include the Eden Project, the Gardens of Heligan, the Minack theatre, St. Mawes, the Roseland Peninsula, Looe and Polperro, Fowey, Falmouth, Porthleven, the Helford River and the county’s capital city, Truro.

Gnarly North Coast:

Fans of this coastline have fallen in love with its forty miles of paradise. Stretching from Bude in the north to Perranporth in the south (before reaching the westernmost tip of the UK at Lands End), the north coast of Cornwall offers a wild and windswept landscape where towns and villages cling and huddle to the cliffs, in a valiant bid to protect themselves from the harsh and pounding waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

With an altogether hardier atmosphere, the north coast attracts daredevils and thrill-seekers alike. Getting their buzz from the sea and surf, residents and visitors to this coastline feel at home in a wetsuit. The rugged rocks and sensational beaches play host to a trendy vibe, where a respect for the stunning scenery sits perfectly with the area's bohemian style. Attracting artists, writers and all manner of outdoorsy families and folk, it’s a lively coastline with plenty to see and do. Places to visit and venture include: Bude, Camelford, Padstow, Newquay, St. Agnes, Port Isaac, Polzeath and Perranporth.

If Cornwall sounds like the seaside escape for you, then search through our great selection of cottages available on the Cornish coast. From large family homes or cute and cosy bolt holes to choose from, we’re sure you’ll find the ideal holiday cottage for you. North or South Coast... You decide.
