Sometimes it’s not always possible to get fully away from work. Deadlines are sadly no respecters of your free time. Before the advent of WiFi this always left you with no choice, you had to stay at home, tied to your internet connection. Nowadays, the wide selection of cottages with WiFi on offer means work doesn’t necessarily mean missing the holiday. Even better, these cottages with WiFi are all in beautiful locations that can’t fail to inspire you to better work.

The first of our cottages with WiFi is Davis Gate Cottage in the hamlet of Dutton, Lancashire. A modern barn conversion, as well as the WiFi, the property is extremely environmental, with sustainable features such as heat pump warm air central heating and hot water by solar panels. The cottage has a private garden and has spectacular views over the Ribble Valley all the way to Pendle Hill.

One of several cottages with WiFi in Cornwall is Aurora in Looe. It’s a place for anyone that loves a good view, the picturesque town, river, harbour, and sea can all be seen from various points in the house. A tiered garden area lies to the back of the house, while the paved sun terrace at the front is ideal for taking in the evening sun and watching the world go by.

This detached lakeside property is ideal for peace and quiet. Damsel Lodge in Exebridge, Devon is a cottage with WiFi for those who fancy the idea of staying in a stylish wooden lodge in private grounds. The surrounding countryside is picturesque, and the lake is great for coarse fishing.

If you’ve been looking for cottages with WiFi that can give you a bit more than the usual then Garden Flat 3 Summer Lodge in Dorset could be for you. This luxurious apartment is just minutes from the beach and town centre, plus you have a private garden and patio to enjoy should you feel like catching up on some work in the open air.

Wildwoods in Sandwich, Kent is a businessman’s dream holiday location. It’s a large cottage with WiFi, so there is plenty of space to work, and when it’s time to play there are three different golf courses on your doorstep, including Royal St Georges.

Marsh Cottage Hide is in the wonderfully peaceful rural village of Reydon, just down the road from Southwold in Suffolk. As the name suggests it’s an ideal place for birdwatchers, and feathered friends like the marsh harrier, barn owl, bittern and egret can often be spotted from the comfort of the well appointed cottage.

A converted barn in Fraisthorpe, Yorkshire, The Grainary is another one of those cottages with WiFi that still maintains its character and charm. It’s situated adjacent to a working livery yard, and holidaymakers are encouraged to bring their horses and ponies with them.

The word tranquil might have been invented for Pond Cottage in Norfolk. Set in 33 acres of gardens, paddocks and woodland, this is a well furnished holiday home just seven miles away from Norwich.

Derw Lodge is a high quality cottage in unspoilt Mid Wales, just north of Llanidloes. Set on the banks of a lake with Welsh countryside all around, this is an extremely peaceful holiday home.
